Staying at the Inn At Diamond Cove was a beautifully unique experience on Great Diamond Island. The spacious room was both comfortable and stylish, perfect for a getaway. Unfortunately, the service was often lacking, with understaffing leading to long waits and a feeling of neglect. Overall, the enchanting setting made up for some of the shortcomings, and I'd recommend it for a relaxing retreat if you're prepared for some delays.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Diamond Cove, with standout features like beautifully designed rooms and a unique island experience. However, I was disappointed with the level of service, as staff seemed overwhelmed and often inattentive. Additionally, be prepared for potential noise issues if your room is close to common areas, which can disrupt your relaxation.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. At times, the staff seemed too busy to respond to guest needs, and I found myself waiting a long time for basic service, which detracted from my overall experience.
Location

The location on a car-free island was a refreshing change and added to the tranquility of my stay. However, the lengthy ferry rides to and from the mainland might not be ideal for everyone.
Dining

While the dining options were ample and the food quality was decent, I encountered some service hiccups, leading to a less than stellar dining experience. Improvements in staff communication would enhance this aspect greatly.

I enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Diamond Cove despite some hiccups. The scenic location on a car-free island provided a peaceful escape, and the modern design of the room was truly stunning. However, I did experience noise disturbances in the morning, which detracted from my overall sleep quality. Overall, I'd recommend this place with a caveat to request a quieter room.

Rooms

My room was beautifully designed with a modern kitchen and a cozy fireplace, perfect for unwinding. However, the noise from the kitchen area in the morning was quite disruptive.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the manager who offered a discount for my inconvenience. I appreciated their willingness to help but sometimes it felt a little stretched due to staff multitasking between different roles.
Location

The hotel is situated on a lovely island, adding to a unique getaway experience. The ferry ride to get there took longer than expected, but the tranquil atmosphere was worth it.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited and not particularly special. I found breakfast options quite lacking and the pricing at the bar seemed steep. A little more variety would enhance the experience.
Facilities

The heated pool and outdoor activities were highlights of my visit, allowing for a fun way to enjoy the surroundings. However, I was left wanting for more rental options, like bikes or kayaks.

I found Inn At Diamond Cove to be a serene retreat with beautiful room designs and access to wonderful dining options. The unique island experience is captivating, but some facilities seemed to lack in upkeep during my stay.

I had such a amazing stay at Inn At Diamond Cove! The setting was stunning and peaceful, which made it a perfect retreat. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure I was happy. However, I did encounter some inconsistencies, like the cleanliness of my room not meeting expectations initially, which affected my overall experience.

Rooms

The bi-level 2 queen room was spacious and beautifully appointed, but I did notice the carpet could use a vacuuming. The bathrooms were gorgeous and offered great amenities, but the overall cleanliness fell short initially.
Service

Service was mostly fantastic, with staff eagerly providing assistance, though I did feel a bit overlooked during peak times when wedding groups were present. They showed dedication, especially during the power outage, providing meals for free to all guests.
Location

The location was absolutely beautiful and unique, located on a car-free island with fascinating military buildings. However, the ferry ride was long, and I would’ve appreciated clearer information about that before arriving.
Dining

Dining options were good at the inn, with excellent quality food at the nearby restaurant. But I had some issues with meal speed and coordination during busier times, particularly at the Diamonds Edge Restaurant.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a heated pool that I absolutely loved, but I noticed some issues, like the outdoor bathroom lacking a door knob, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, the amenities offered a lot of activities to enjoy.
